Correct engine temperature ? I just had my1999 boxster in for a new clutch, flywheel and IMS bearing. I know having these items fixed has nothing to do with the cooling system. Before the repair the motor ran just a tick under 180 and now it’s just slightly above 180 which is close to the middle of the temperature gage. I was on the expressway doing 75-80 mph with no A/C and the outside temperature was high 60’s. Is this anything to worry about? Or is this normal? |

Normal. Don’t worry about it. Don’t get on the car until it reads 180, after that you are fine. I autocross and sometimes it goes to 185 or so. Not to worry. |
