Oil level LCD

Hi there, I need to change my digital oil display. If I change the all cluster will keep my original miles or the miles on the new cluster?

The mileage is stored on the cluster.
The LCDs can be replaced: http://986forum.com/forums/diy-project-guides/62427-replacing-bad-gauge-cluster-lcd-pre-2000-a.html
