				RIP Jessi Combs

If you've ever watched automotive tv shows like Overhaulin', All Girls Garage, or Xtreme 4x4, then you probably know Jessi Combs. She was also featured on many Velocity channel tv shows as a guest.
Tragically, she was killed yesterday while trying to set a land-speed record in a jet powered car.

She seemed like a sweet down to earth person on TV. She was a very good fabricator . Gone way too soon . RIP young lady

One of the cool car girls that's for sure.

Maybe it's just me but I thought she was the hottest chic on the planet. Good looks and she can wrench! So sad to hear about her passing. At least she went out with style

Play big, go big! She was great, and a rare light in this car world. So sad. Prayers for her and her family.

Very sad news. As safety practices and materials have improved there have been fewer and fewer deaths due to speed in racing which makes this a rare event. There was a time when death by racing was a frequent event. The rarity of this doesn't make it any easier to accept.

I remember when she made the choice to leave her TV job to pursue land speed records. I thought it was too big of a step given her limited pro driving experience & the great job she already had.
