GAHH Glass window top

Hi all,

Can anyone else who has the GAHH top post a pic from the side, I have a little wrinkle in mine above the window that I am told is normal and will work itself out and am curious of anyone else has this. Other than that I love the top.
I will post a pic of what I am talking about later today.

Thanks!

Mine is doing the exact same thing... I took it to the installer who fought with it a bit before calling GAHH... they told him that is normal and will work itself out... I'm not convinced...

My original top does this from time to time. Lubricating the edge with a quality product made for window and door gaskets should make it move into the track smoothly and not bunch up like it does.

I would imagine anything specifically designed for the gaskets around your windows would work for this experiment. I'd rub it on that bit of the top (being very cautious not to get it on the canvas itself, but on that rubber bit on the edge) and inside the track with a Qtip and give it a go. It just might be that it's dry right there and has no lubrication with rubber on plastic.

Well that wrinkle was NOT coming out and after calling GAHH they confimed it would not work its way out so back to the dealer it went.

I got my car back today and they ended up replacing the GAHH top with another one to take care of the "wrinkle" issue.
It looks PERFECT now! The dealer, Installar and GAHH really came through to make me happy.
Since I know many of you are interested in getting one I will post a bunch of pics.

nice! great to see GAHH stand by their product.

p.s.
I tried Forever Black dye on that bit of window trim near the soft top last week. My trim was starting to get cloudy/discolored. Now it looks brand new again. I used it on the windshield wiper trim and bumperettes too. Chased it with Poorboys Trim restorer so I won't have to do it again until next year.
With my new winshield the car looks brand new.
