You guys all should sell your cars, you're afraid to drive them!!!

BTW our local club did our fall tour today, it covered 198 miles of back roads, sometimes in the rain. All 30 cars shifted near redline and ran wide open throttle for hundreds of stops and starts. Our cars all came back covered with mud, cow manure, dead bugs, and smiles. BTW I got 21 mpg.

Porsche says 15,000 mile oil changes, they know best, all of Europe has been doing it for decades, Americans have been brain washed.

I've been having fun since 1974, are you having fun, or just drooling over your garage queen?

Boy are these cars fun in the snow, should be time for my hardtop and snow tires soon!

If you enjoy spending your time and money installing a RMS, that is fine.

The fact that it must be installed at all is not "petty bickering" it is poor and sloppy engineering. Fact is, the guys blew the design of the engine and will not re-design it because of pride, cost or both.

So be it! Actions speak louder than words and second rate engineers are second rage engineers, even if they are German.

Actually, Porsche says 20K miles between changes, get your facts straight. You asserting that they "know best" is like pissing in the wind, the wind still wins!

Tell you what, run your M1 for 20 K miles and then get an oil analysis. Report back.
Since you love to work on your car, you will be pleased, as the oil has been dead in that car for say, 10K miles.

But, don't believe the analysis, the "factory knows best!"

Finally as has been stated before, no one is here in endorsing the "garage queen" you keep coming back to. You simply cannot stay on point about pushing your car and longevity.

Perhaps instead of installing an RMS in your Porsche, you should try reading and comprehension lessons.

Lastly, if you want to keep trying to provoke me, you can find another forum. I have a short fuse on guys who poke a stick at me.

I have tried to stay on the high road, but owning this board does not make you an expert on Porsches.

I can help people elsewhere, I'll leave your kingdom for now. BTW I joined this board before you.
