Castrol oil ?

Needed a state inspection and the Porsche dealer is close by. Figured while it’s there I’d bite the bullet and pay their premium price for oil change
Got home and checked level it was in between the marks. Not full but at ok level

I called to double check what oil viscosity they used. Well it’s 0-40 full synthetic but Castrol
?? I guess I assumed they’d use Mobil 1.

Any concerns I should have ?

What does "not full but OK" mean? Half full/empty? 3/4 full? Ask how many quarts of oil they put in?
Did they change the oil filter? How can you be sure? Did they torque the oil drain plug correctly?
I would not go more than 3000K miles on this oil, but ensure all else is corrected.

It was oil & filter I change oil every year drive less than 3k per year
I need to measure on level road driveway is pitched. I was surprised they used Castrol

Castrol is a good company. It is the oil of choice/spec for Volvo. I use their full syn in my wife's S60.

Castrol Syntec comes highly recommended by Porsche experts. No need to worry that it's circulating thru your car.

I use it in both of my 987S's.

I ran Castrol Syntec 10w-40 in my Box S for 10 years of ownership. All good.

Ditto the above.
Have used Castrol in my '01 since I got her in 2006.

I switched to Castrol Edge 10W-40 a few years ago. My understanding is that Mobil 1 is not the same as when originally made the 986, and not as good anymore. The 986 experts on this forum tend to recommend Castrol or DT40 if you are tracking the car frequently.

Since my rebuilt engine finished its break-in period, my shop recommended Red Line full synthetic 15w-50. My only complaint is the round quart bottles it comes in don't have the clear strip down the side so you can see how much you've poured out when you're adding oil to the car.

My INDY uses Castrol exclusively, unless a customer specifically demands another oil.
