Soft top protection?

Yeah, I have light scuffing too, along where it folds onto itself. It would be nice if there's a way to protect it.

Local shop told me taking a soft, thin towel and laying it in the creases when retracting the top (where the rub marks are) would prevent the top from scuffing itself whilst folded.
