Which Motor Will Fit?

I have a 2002 Boxster base 2.7 Tiptronic.

What year motors would fit?

I'm looking for direct swap or close. ( I'd have no problem swapping parts, if needed. )

I know the chains and cams changed in certain years, so that's a factor. Is there a way to tell without tearing the motor apart which chain/cam setup it has?

Also, would I need to get a motor from Tip or would one from a Manual work?

Thankfully I don't need it now, (knock on wood, I know I just jinxed myself) I'm just wondering in case I ever come across a spare motor at a good price.
