PPI and extended warranty question...

Should I get a PPI done on a CPO car? Or am I nuts and it's just a waste of money? Also I'm considering a CPO'd car but even with the CPO warranty I'll only be covered til the end of Nov. '08. Any suggestion as to where can I get an extended warranty? How much would that run(ballpark figure) me? Thanks much :)

You will pay a lot less to extend the warranty in 08 since the car has always been under warranty. I paid $2,600 for bumper to bumper with a $50 deductable for the best company in the SoCal area for two years. My car is an 04 with over 50K so it was out of warranty. Bottom line, it is much less expensive to extend the warranty at the time the factory warranty expires. Check out out warrantydirect.com for general pricing.

Thanks. I'll check out their website.
What about doing PPI on a CPO? Overkill? Or money well spent? Anybody?
