Boxster s 2000 stock amp plug

Hi so i got a boxster s 2000 a while back and just got to installing an aftermarket stereo on it, I rewired everything and the amp dosent turn on ( the amp does work, tried it in another car) so i was wondering if it could be the smaller plug. Does anyone have one which i can buy? this is the stock amp the haes 6x40 one

If you installed a pn aftermarket radio make sure you connect the power wire that turns on the amp. I think usally blue on after market. If you bought an adapter kit it should have a note on it explaining which to connect.

So it’s the blue wire that tells the amp to turn on?

Yes. And the Haes 6X40 has an internal low pass filter for the door subs that cuts at about 50 Hz. You may be disappointed in the sound through the 40W Haes amp.

I was running this set up before i upgraded to Alpine amp and it actually sounded pretty good, but i was using it with an active configration so I could adjust the cross over on the dash mid and tweeter.
