I need my LCD MPH readout a little brighter. With sunglasses, it's a little hard to read, as I use it in city driving. I think I'll go with LED for the LCD illumination. The gauge lighting is really dim. Almost can't read it at night.
Yes, the dimmer is all the way up..
Since the bulbs are 20 years old, could they be "worn"?.
I have seen DIY about installing LED bulbs and planned on doing this, but I'm compelled to ask, does anyone think that putting new incandescent bulbs would help?
I'm sure there are those who would say "if your opening the cluster, just go LED".
I'm thinking of trying new incandescents in the gauges just to find out.
Thanks for your input.
