Gave them a call. They said that they'd charge $310 for a basic inspection. Are there any reputable local mechanics that would do it for less? I paid $135 for one in San Diego for a boxster I wound up not buying.
While I understand the value of getting a PPI, the costs can start adding up particularly if the cars I'm looking at don't pan out. $310 here and $310 there can add up to a few thousand quickly.
