2004 front fog lights.....

new to Boxsters so i have a lot to learn...i have been looking at a LOT of pics and have noticed the front end of the 987 models look a lot like the front of my 2004 986.2 model.....the slits in the bumper of my car may be thinner than on a 987 though....

would the fog lights for the front bumper on 987 models fit my 2004 986.2?....if so i was thinking about installing them and using them as DRL....

they might cram in there, but they certainly won't be a bolt on affair
