Whisp of smoke from vent behind passenger door
 

I have a faint wisp of smoke that occasionally comes out of the vent behind the passengers door. What is that vent and what might cause the light wisp of smoke that I occasionally see? I can barely smell a trace of something, maybe oil dripping on the hot engine?

That is the intake (not exhaust as many mistakenly believe) for the engine compartment cooling fan. You probably have an oil leak hitting a hot engine part causing the smoke and smell. If so, you need to address this ASAP.

Maybe coolant leak? The over flow is in that area as well. Either way, time to pull some panels and investigate.
