Tail light
 
Well im thinking of buying these tail lights.

does any body have these on and could give me a pic?

and hows the instlation? could i do it or not or do i take it to porsche and let them install it and would they install it. thanks :)

Installation is fairly simple. There are some threads on this topic already.
In short, you need to open the rear tunk, pull back the trim, unscrew the lamps,
unplug them, remove the old ones, and install the new ones in the reverse order...

Hopefully the ones on ebay will fit nicely. Some of the aftermarket lamps dont fit that great which may leave bigger than expected gaps. Just ask the seller if he guarantees the fit of these.

I think you can buy the OEM smoked lamps from Brandywine Porsche direct for under 200.00. Just a thought.

I bought the non-smoked lenses you are considering and they took about 5 minutes to install. Extremely easy and perfect fit.

I still live in the stone ages and don't have a digital camera, but I, too, have a '99 and can promise you will have no trouble putting these in.
