Airbag light

So I had a water leak from the driver's side drip tray. Fixed. My carpet was really wet so I pulled it all out. (Talk about pain in the a$$) Anyway, I got everything all back together and now I get the airbag light. What could cause this? How can it be cleared?

Cleared if nothing is wrong: dealer or independent with a PIWIS, PST2. Friend who has a Durametric.

If something is wrong like corrosion at one of the connections or damage to the electronics under the drivers seat: Read the codes via the above and resolve the issue.

There were several TSB service advisories and even some updated parts dealing with connection issues.

More here.

When you put the drivers seat back in, did you remember to connect the seatbelt circuit, speaking from experience, I failed to and this triggered the airbag light.
