I want a Turn signal Flasher that Beeps

I have never liked the idea of my turn signal flasher not making a sound when they are engaged. Sometime when not making a complete 90 degree turn with the turn signal set, like an off ramp on the expressway, the stalk will not reset on it's on. I forget and drive a ways until I see the signal light still blinking. I am sure I have confused many that have been following me with the signal on and it's not possible to turn in that direction.

I agree, would desire a relay sound.

I could probably slap something together for you.

That relay clicks audibly...don't ours already do that? I can't remember.

I was thinking of a simple tone generator circuit that taps into the flasher relay output. When the relay sends power to the turn signal, the tone generator would emit a tone through a small piezo speaker at the same rate as the light blinks (a soft tone with each flash). I would think it could be about the size of a quarter.

The relay does click but you have to be under the dash to here mine. Interesting idea on the tone generator circuit. I might can do that. If the relay that Stafford posted beeps I am going that route.

Is there not a replacement relay that is louder?

If you want to pay the price, Not me! Interesting, Motorcycles must have a alarm relay for their turn signals. Makes sense.

You can hear the relay when the top is up but can't when it is down. And who drives with the top up?

Bonjour, Many if it's raining. :D

One of the last units you posted should do the trick.
