air conditioning problem

Friends I have an air conditioning problem. Recently refilled and already lost all the gas. What can be verified? are there any known problems? exists diy tutorial? Thanks in advance

A leak that quick would point me to the condensers. That's the most likely spot for a puncture in the system due to road debris.

Use a dye in the system and check for leaks as above. Condenser is a cheap and easy fix. The front to rear pipe can corrode especially by the clips or get crushed or punctured by a stray jack.

Recently I read, somewhere, that introducing a chemical into the system can create more problems than it reveals.

Hoping a PRO will chime in and tell me I'm incorrect.

Shops use dye in leaking systems all the time. Trick is to use a dye made for the purpose, which will not harm anything and can be left in the system indefinitely.

If you know for a fact that there is no more freon in the system (don't vent freon into the atmosphere!) rig up dry shop air into the system, m80-90 psi will do, and listen for a leak or check with soapy water. I found the leak in my 986 within 10 seconds that way (corroded low pressure line underneath car).

I would like to suggest that you use nitrogen, instead of shop air if at all possible, for the purpose of pressure testing.
