fuel injectors and fuel rail

Will injectors from a 2000 (return type fuel rail) work on a 2002 (non-return type fuel rail)?
Relatedly, is there any way to easily adapt the return type fuel rail from the 2000 to a non return 2002?
I have a brand new set of OEM 2000 injectors (and fuel rails) that I would like to use, if possible, in my 2002.
