Porsche love in honeymoon!
 

Guys, I apologize if I am being intrusive here as I don't own a 986 (I bought a 2005 987 2 weeks ago) but I just wanted to tell you all that this thing energizes me like a teenager! I picked her up from the airport at 3am last night after a 5 day biz trip and I giggled like a little kid after hopping into it, smelling that leather and hearing that amazing sound of the flat 6. This is my first Porsche and I just love it. Just thought I would share with you all.

Mine makes me feel like a kid too. At least I drive like one when I'm in it. Lets hope that feeling never goes away.

Yeah, love mine too. I limit taking out as a daily driver just to relive the experience every Friday. Lol

I feel the same! I dont know, its not a "normal" car, its a totally different experience. The sound of the flat 6, the mid-engine, the naturally aspirated engine...everything about it. And the fact that its a classic, it makes it even better. All the newer cars seem the same to me.. Just imagine having a Porsche with v4 turbo sound, 2000cc etc etc..

Sometimes I dream of other cars but that goes away when I jump in the Porsche and go for a drive. These cars are definitely something special and every drive feels special and fun. Mine has been a daily while I've been struggling to fix my other car and the feeling remains. Enjoy the car!

Good for you and welcome to the club. They are wonderful cars and the one time life dictated for me a different car I could not wait to get back into one. By the way, a lot of people will not get it.
