I like my sound tbh (2.7l), starting @ 5500 it sounds like that on the Autobahn (de-snorkeled), you can hardly hear the screams of your passenger.

I really like the sound of the upcoming GT4

The best sounding Boxster's that I've heard have cat delete test pipes and a cat back muffler. Its loud and sounds great.

Ok, maybe not 911 RSR 9,5000 rpm sequential gearbox great, but great nonetheless.

(Note: cat delete/cat back muffler is loud enough that I wear earplugs all of the time. YMMV).

I don't want to have to wear earplugs.. Just want a little louder, and an off-throttle burble. Can a man get a burble around here?!

Secondary cat delete pipes are a super easy mod and add a nice bit of sound.

Yes!!!! You can get a burble WITHOUT earplugs. I have THAT!!!

2004 3.2 “S”

FVD Brombacher “Sound Version” muffler.

Stock headers.

Secondary Cat Delete pipes.

Quiet at cruise.

Quiet when just fooling around.

Awesome sound when on the throttle.

AND a burble on over run and lift throttle from higher RPM.

Perfect.

You’re welcome world.

I was mostly just posting the bad-a$$ car and sound! Ha, I currently have headers and cat delete, sounds pretty good really. The FVD sounds awesome! Not sure if I could do open pipes... tempting though!
