2001 Boxster S Top Cloth is coming loose at rear
 

I just noticed that the convertible top cloth was coming loose where it goes into the clamshell at the back of the top.

I've searched and found all sorts of issues people have with the tops... I can't find this problem anywhere. I haven't had time to take things apart and am wondering if this is a glue, tape or other holding mechanism. I don't see any evidence of glue there now.

Any suggestions?

It’s a thin 3M tape, 06384, that holds it in place. Follow Mike Focke’s how-to regarding that area.

I am about to do this on mine - although it is only about a 6" long piece come unstuck.
I purchased the 3m tape but wasn't sure the correct way. Found a clip on youtube that showed that the rubber gasket can be pulled off and pushed back on after the tape is applied.

If you locate that vid, please post it here. I'm going to tackle this project this coming weekend and love to have that as an additional guide.
