3k rpm vibration
Hi everybody
Just did what everybody told me not to do, bought the cheapest Boxter I could find. (whithout PPC). So far everything is working great and I'm still smilin as a child. But... at 2800 to 3000 rpm there is a bad vibration in my engine, especially when I depress the pedal. Can it be something whith the variocamsystem.I do not know at which rpm the camshafts change height. The engine runs great at 6500 rpm so it should not be worn out. Or can a worn clutch make this problem. If you recognize this please let me know. And more questions: The best mechanic in SoCal, where can I find him (her) Magnus |
hey does it come when you are driving...and you lay off the gas and lets say you are in third gear.....as you lay off the clutch its a rumbling sound from the back engine.

dual mass flywheel...
Is there some rubber parts inside this kind of flywheel that can bee worn out. Should I by a new lightweigh one or just a regular oem Someone who has this experience from a lightweigh one? Is it harmful to drive whith these vibrations? |

I've had the same issue in my car for about the past year. I figured i'd just wait for my next clutch replacement and do them at the same time. I don't think its really harmful, just extremely annoying thats all... |
