Going crazy with the top/cover of the spoiler?

Hey all,

I am one of those who like the 996 4S reflective strip between the rear lights, and I was wondering if one could achieve a similar effect on the 986 (mine's a black 2000 Boxster S).

So I've seen a few pictures of black or silver 986s with Guards Red spoiler tops, but that just isn't the same.

But that doesn't really achieve the effect well enough, so I was contemplating fitting something like this: https://www.ebay.de/itm/271760997413
