Is there a problem if anything is to tight. I drove around for about a 1/2 hour with a lot of shifting and everything was fine. It's a lot more firm than before. I like the feel but am just not sure if the shift should be tighter (as it is) or just the shift throws are shorter. I know my lines on the cables were dead one (sharpee) and I backed off the set screw a 1/2 turn. Should the shifter have a little more resistance?
I did not put any greese on the bushing that hold the shifter in place. Neither the B&M or 986 101 projects mention greasing those.
