AOS lower hose clip broken

I just replaced the lower hose on my AOS. Its the hose that goes from the AOS to the other side of the front of the motor. Seems like a crazy design but there it is. Any way here is my question. When trying the get the hose pushed onto AOS I broke one side of the clip that holds it on. I got it all the way in and one side clipped on. Is this going to be enough to hold it or did I FUBAR this hose? Thanks for the input ahead.
