Droppy Sunvisor

The drivers side sunvisor on my 98 Boxster hangs down about an inch and will not stay in the fully up position. If I push it up, it will slowly droop down and stop after it has dropped about an inch. I've tried calling it names, threating it and questioning its heritage to no avail...
Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust/tighten the friction in the hinge assembly? I have the visors with the lighted mirrors.
Kevin

Well did you offer it viagra?

I just had my visor off replacing the vanity frame, i did not see any adjustments you may hav3 to try to find a replacement. Its easy to take out, just becareful on the side near rearview mirror there is a plastic clip sort of thing where the light connection is.

I replaced my drivers side one with a used one because of that. Be careful though when re-installing, I pinched the wiring behind it unknowingly and it broke the insulation. I kept blowing a fuse, it took me a while to figure that out. I even had the immobilzer rebuilt because of that which was $500..I think it needed it done anyway, it looked like it got wet at some point in time. That was an expensive lesson and took me a few weeks to find the problem.
