How do I remove the double DIN radio in my 986

I guess it's just the power and ground lines that the immobilizer can see? I can;t imagine anything to do with speakers runs through it.

I do not know. I know that later models have part of the interface through the instrument cluster, (been researching a cluster swap, but decided against it for multiple reasons) I would guess the earlier ones do too. I'm sure someone here has dealt with these before. But, definitely want to research a how to.
