wheel fitment question I have an opportunity to pick up some rather wide wheels, was wondering if y'all can chime in with your opinions if these will fit. Currently stock suspension. Wheel specs; Front - 18 x 9 offset 23 Tires - 225/40/ZR18 Rear - 18 x 11 offset 20 Tires - 285/30/ZR18 Very much appreciated guys, Randy |

fronts maybe. rears no way. first pic in linked thread is of 275 tire (ie, 10 mm/0.5" narrow than yours) on 10" wheel (ie, 24mm/1" narrower than yours) with ET34 offset (ie, 24 mm/1" further inboard than yours). so, take that pic, stick the wheel out an additional 1", than make it 1/2" wider than that. http://986forum.com/forums/boxster-general-discussions/65583-wheel-fitment-question.html |

Thank you TRK, I suspected that it wouldn't fit as well but wanted some insight from others. They look so good too.... https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/wto/6491106457.html |

well, they are 3-piece wheels, so you can swap/replace barrels to get the width/offset you want. vendor seems to know what he's talking about; ask him if possible to rebuild wheels for boxster fitment - you want *around* et40 front and rear (really depends on what tire you are carrying, but 40 is pretty safe) and max 10" on the back. |
