Power Window grinding/clicking sound

You guys are awesome at helping me diagnose problems with my Boxster (previous diagnosis of bad wheel bearings was spot on!) so I'm hoping I can get a little help with another problem that recently cropped up.

Passenger side power window makes a clicking/grinding sound when rolling up and down.

When opening the door, it doesn't seem to drop as much as it used to (maybe only a mm or two as compared to about a cm before).

When rolling the window up, it's like it doesn't know when to stop, i.e. the window goes all the way up but the motor stays on for several seconds, making a grinding/clicking noise.

All of these changes happened at the same time and were sudden.

Thoughts on what I should check out first and what I may have to replace? Thanks!

I probably should have done a forum search first. Looks like it's probably the regulator.

Unfortunately I can't find the button to delete this thread?
