Yes, AOS.

I ordered one yesterday, it should arrive tomorrow. This is my second Boxster it has only 117,000 miles on it. I am pretty good at swapping them out. Driving along the ocean near sea level sure takes these AOS's out often.

Hmmm driving along the ocean at sea level in Washington and Oregon doesn't bother them a bit.

You must not be driving much or not REALLY DRIVING.

Jake Raby has posted this finding a few times. He has not seen Porsches from states in higher elevations with failed AOS's but only from states along the coasts.

I have replaced five AOS's in previous Boxsters and this is the second AOS since taking ownership on my current Boxster.

I like hearing 6000 RPM a lot. :)
