polylock for exhaust

hey - i have some exhaust work to do - join mid-pipes to muffler - anyone use stainless polylock tubing? is it a hack repair thing, or a viable way to couple exhaust bits? and is it possible to ceramic coat it? thanks.

I used similar product years ago.It was quite common for older cars in Europe.Worked great and never rusted - which is more than can be said for the OEM parts.

i am thinking it might be a good way to reduce drone as well - the aftermarket mufflers tend to not have rubber isolation dampers for mounting, so a direct mechanical connection to the vibrating motor; use the polylock at the muffler and you decouple the exhaust vibrations from the body of the car.
