Found Another Porsche - 993 C4 Cab

After selling the Boxster I went on a search for another Porsche. I looked at everything from the early 911s to the later 997.2 and the 997.1 turbos. I even looked at the 991s. All cabs…. It had to be a convertible. At first, I stayed away from looking at the 993s. I had already had two and figured there were other Porsches out there to experience. But damn…. Everything the other Porsches I looked at were missing the 993 had. The new ones from 997 on were too nice if that makes sense. They were missing the raw factor. So, the hunt was on for another 993 cab.

I ended up buyng one from a Rennlist member in Massachusetts. Oddly enough the Porsche was originally sold at Ogner Porsche Audi in Woodland Hills, 10 miles from where I live. Its a 1995 993 C4 Cab with 46,000 miles. If was heavily optioned with a unique Cedar Green interior. Tons of leather was added at the factory to bring the MSRP over $100,000.

Here are a few photos .. we all love Porsche photos!

It’s so “just another Porsche” until you open the doors. Wow! Nice surprise.

Can’t go wrong with a 993. Looks great and wow that option list is something else. Congrats and enjoy!

Rusnak Porsche. Spent lots of time as a kid in their Pasadena dealership dreaming of owning my own.

I’ve never really been a 911 cab fan, the convertible top always made the rear end look too fat. But I must say, the 993 looks great. Best of the lot. Very cool ride! Congrats!

Beautiful and unique car. Enjoy!

What is the PTS color? Amazing what the options cost. The CD changer was almost as expensive as the green leather.

Should have some fun at the local cars & coffee.

Congrats Chuck, car looks nice! I don't know if you are a PCA member but their latest magazine has an article on the "analog" Porsche driving experience staring Boxster, 993 & 968.

Nice car. I don't think I have seen that interior color before. I owned a 993 coupe for 4 years and did quite a few mods. Rennlist was a great forum for that.
