Spoiler light on at start, then goes off
 
EVERY time I start my Boxster, the rear spoiler light goes on.

After a minute, it goes off.

What gives?

By design, that is normal, the spoiler light stays on until you get to a forward speed of around 5 MPH I think.

If your battery has a dying cell it can do this

Totally normal. It stays on until it can calibrate a speed reading so it knows when to raise and lower automatically.
