Soft top rejuvenation

So being a DIY kinda guy do any of you have experience or recommendation on quality soft top color restorer? I see ads for a product called Protex, but no first hand experience. Looking into purchasing and upgrading my 02 to later model softy with glass but the black canvas is faded. Any advice would be appreciated.
