don’t think this has been posted before ?
Welcome to A NU DIMENSION
boxster kit car. crap website, no info, however here is a build log ... http://extremeoc.co.uk/index.php?topic=3032.0 |
Don't know about you, but I didn't buy my Boxster to remove the convertible top and change it's looks. I want to convertible top and I love the looks of the 986.

Interesting build, but seems like a lot of work and money for the poser-mobile end product. :p
|
well, i find it interesting on two points ...
- overall dimensions and windshield rake seem to translate very well to the 991 look, so porsche may not have evolved the 996 to 991 as much as you'd think. - might be good for a race car build where you get a lot of lightweight body panels, a hardtop, and ability to run much wider tires. |
I'd probably be able to get more point bys if I was running this kit...

I like the look and conversion. 9k Canadian plus labour is the part I can't swallow but definitely way cheaper than a 991 lol
