Everytime I start the car the temp. automatically comes on @ 72 degrees.
Is there a way NOT to have my temp. come on when i start my car?

On my MY99, it seems to me that the climate control returns to the mode it was in when I last turned the car off. If I don't want the Auto mode, I manually turn off the AC by hitting the snowflake button, then tap the temperature down until it says "Lo", and set the fan manually to about 4 bars. It comes back that way on restart everytime for me.

I would like to know if this is possible as well......It doesn't come back to the mode it was in before you shut off the car tho, I turn mine off most of the time, unless the temperatures are extreme (cold or hot)..... Always starts up automatically when I start the car...

Hi,
Not possible - it's the default setting. You can run the Fan speed all the way down and then hit it one more time and you'll turn the Climate Control totally OFF. Due to using one of the numeric display characters, the display will read OFf. Hope this helps...
Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

Sorry to get your hopes up, it looks like I am alone here. I must be on drugs, or my car has been modified in some way, but I stand by my previous post - mine comes back the way I left it, after following the previously posted procedure.

Please Help!
Lately everytime I get in my car it's over 90° inside. Is there some sort of auto-warming feature that I can shut off? It's screwy because only 6 months ago it seemed to have an auto-cool feature. What's up with this?
Also, with the top down, even with the climate control off, I get a tremendous amount of air blowing on me while driving. I don't notice this with the top up. Is this normal?
Thanks!
