Paint for rims

Just picked up a set used of 18'' sport classic bbs 2 pc rims for my 01 boxster

i was just thinking of doing a touchup but have decided i want to restore these

can anyone recommend paint and paint color for these rims

I assume that you mean wheels, not rims.

You can plasticoat them

You can use 2 part acrylic enamel. If they need work remove the damage and prime the wheels first.

You could also have them powder coated.

I personally like painting them.

I have used this with good results:

3 coats of color and 2 coats of clear

Or you could vinyl wrap them. Vids on Utube.

Here is my before and after. I had a local wheel shop separate the rims, polish the outer ring and powder coat the spokes. I later added the emblems back in the center. Worth inquiring about powder coating them.
