I had the exact same issue 3 yrs ago on my 08 CSS. Bought Ferrado pads and the front pads arrived looking like your EBCs (the rears were fine). I was leaving in a few days for Porsche Parade in Monterey & was doing the DE at Laguna Seca after Parade. No time for figuring it out and waiting for replacements, so I took the pads to the bench grinder and made them work.
