Clamshell catastrophe!
While lowering the top yesterday on my 2002 there was a grinding sound. Later when I put it back up the roof locked into place OK but the clamshell is a different story. The control arm on the right side has completely blown off the retaining pins front and back...yikes! Any suggestions?

If you look down the inside you will see a rail that the ball pin circled in red rides in. There is a slide that the ball pin snaps into to slide alone the rail. It may just need to be snapped back in and some lubricant added to the rail or you may need a new slide. Part number for the slide is 98656157701.
