UPDATE...thanks you were right! Was able to snap that arm back into the slide rail no problem. The other end also slid back onto the pin but the little square retaining bracket was nowhere to be found. Then I noticed a hole which I think is for the rain channels so I stuck my finger down and yep could feel that square bracket...of all the places to go it had go down that hole! Pushing up from below with a toilet snake got it close enough to the top of the hole I could get my fingers around it. Clamshell now back in place level again but not sure why it jumped its track in the first place...maybe the alignment on the top is out but that's a job for another day...
