Coulant pump & thermostat replacement time

Hi guys, discovered last week that my 2003 986 2.7l Boxster coolant pump was leaking and making a loud noise. Did remove it. It is the original one as the steel gasket is att to the motor. Did inspect it. The plastic impeller is intact but the bearing looks to be in bad shape. A new Porsche pump & a lower temp. thermostat are on their way. My question is can I still use the actual hose clamps or I should buy & install new one (Tridon type)?

Tks for your hep.

I would replace the clamps.

Thanks a lot. Will use stainless steel worm drive hose clamps.

I just did this job on my 2003 last weekend and went with good quality 1/4" wide screw clamps. Worked out fine. I used a 2.5" on the bigger hoses and a 1.75" clamp on the smaller hose.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1508288342.jpg

Thanks a lot for the details. Will do it by tomorrow.

Best regards.
