Clear Headlights

Hi All, I was watching Wheeler Dealers and they updated a Boxster S with new headlights and tail lights. I thought this looked great, but after pricing them, they were in the thousands of dollars. Does anyone have a "more affordable" option other that not changing them at all.

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Erik.
I got a set of new ones on eBay for $900.
Still pricy, but well worth it if yours are also faded.
Another option is to wait until a used set is up for sale.

Look for a discolored set and buy for About $400 pr. Wet sand and polish. That is what I did. I also deambered the signals.

Yep, you can not beat that deal. No buffing, de-ambering, etc.

Yep...definitely a great deal for new. I would buy them. However, if they are new, they still have the internal amber lens. I would still de-amber. I melted the internal amber lamp in half with soldering iron and then pulled pieces out through light bulb hole. 10 minute job.
