Removing after market head unit - where is the antenna?
 

Any advise on how to remove an alpine single din head unit? Does it have tabs on the side? top? is there special tool? I want to check the connection to the antenna? Lousy reception! Maybe it is just an inadequate antenna. I am assuming is in the windshield.

look up Alpine tools and tricks to get it out.

the connector is separate.....there may be and adapter to adapt it to the Alpine

Wiring goes up the post on the left side of the windshield under the trim piece and there is a connection and IIRC an amp in there.
