Is Boxster S catalytic converter same as base (2.7)?
 

Will the catalytic converters from a 2.7 Boxster fit onto a Boxster S? I've searched this and other forums and can't find a straight answer. I may need to replace one of them and would prefer to save $$$ by buying a used one, and there are more base cat converters available.

Per PET, the manifolds and secondary catalysts are the same for 2.7 and 3.2.

Do you need the primary or secondary? Right or Left? I have them.

Thanks, I don't know yet. Just bought it and prev owner said he had recently disconnected battery which shut off the check engine light which had given him a cat converter code. CE light recently came back on but I had to disconnect batter again before I could check code. Waiting for it to come back on to get code.
