Early Porsche Video

I fell into the YouTube hole today. Interesting video on later 356 manufacturing in the early 60's. Zero automation. I was familiar with Ruetter's work with Porsche, but not Drauz's affiliation. I also like all of the safety glasses on the workers foreheads.

I think this is a 5 part series. I now understand why they rusted Wouldn't it have been nice to own one new?

YouTube has it in multiple places. You can watch it in +/- 10 minute segments (5). This link is what I believe to be unedited and complete at just under 40 minutes.

Thanks

I have always been interested in the history of Porsche and of the Doktor's struggle following World War II. This film of his use of the Reutter factory in ZUffenhausen is really interesting. Keeping in mind that Audi is in Zuffenhausen today, where they built the 924 and 944.

Audi's factory is in Neckarsulm, just a bit north of Zuffenhausen.
