Mine is a daily driver. I put about 20 miles per day. 52k on her right now and has never given me any trouble what-so-ever. All the plastic bits are starting to go now that she is almost 17 years old.

From a neighbor in some even more chilly domains I recommend you try using a silicone door stick. It stops the doors from freezing stuck...
