Bordeaux Seats

Hey I am new to the forums,

I have the Bordeaux Leather Seats and i was cleaning them today with a little bit of adams interior detailer and i noticed an alarming amount of the red dye from the seat come off onto the towel, is this normal for cleaning the seats on a new car?

Not a lot of detail in your post...
Is the car new or just new to you?
If an older vehicle, I'd suspect someone redyed the seats and you're removing some of it.

How aggressively are you cleaning the seats? Are you using any tools, microfiber, foam applicator, brush, sponge, etc?

If the dye is coming off on a towel just by wiping it down, it's coming off anyway.

If you used a red towel you wouldn't worry as much.

Probably a good idea to avoid wearing white when driving the car
