987 Convertible Roof Mechanism Question
 

New poster here, appreciate any help. I had the push rods replaced on my 2010 Boxster 987 roof as they were both broken. Since then, I have scuff marks on the roof, one each side, which weren't there previously. Looking at the rubber seal at the bottom of the roof it seems to come up short on both sides as shown in the attached photo's. This seems a little odd to me as the exposed metal is sharp and I'm thinking something is missing, maybe an end cap that has caused the scuffs. I don't have another 987 to compare with so I'm hoping someone on the forum will be able to take a look at theirs to see if mine's missing something.
