I find most plastics that get ugly on these cars either have to be replaced or refinished to look good again. Maybe a good used one from a dismantler?
Pelican Parts has it too. 2002 Porsche Boxster Base Convertible - Seats, Belts & Upholstery - Page 1 |
Any sort of vinyl/plastic dressing should make it look better. I use chemical guys vrp but something like back to black would work too.

I would clean it with Q-Tips and an all purpose cleaner, then try applying a plastic dressing that does not contain dye.

I use Turtle Wax plastic restorer. Makes them look like new but you should clean them up a little first

Thanks for the info everyone. |
Try Plexus. I originally bought Plexus to maintain my vinyl rear window but experimented the other night on the plastic cowl trim(under the windshield wipers). The trim was faded from years of Florida sun and brought it back to new condition. I've tried other stuff for plastics in the past but they usually last only until I was the car again but Plexus has held up.
